Autorefractor

Using infrared light, this test will automatically measure your prescription. This reduces the question "which is better, 1 or 2?" and streamlines the refraction process.

Corneal Topographer

A corneal topographer accurately maps out the surface of the eye for optimal contact lens fitment and to assess for corneal conditions such as keratoconus.

Optomap

The latest fundus camera, Optos California. As an alternative to pupil dilation, this machine will take a 200 degree retinal scan of the back of your eyes to allow the doctor to carefully evaluate your ocular health.

Visual Field Perimeter

An automated perimeter is used to assess a patient's visual field. While most commonly used to evaluate glaucoma, it can also be used to locate disease processes throughout the visual pathway, such as visual field defects as a result of strokes. 

OCT

Using low-coherence light, this test will measure layers of the retina that is   micrometers accurate. It is used to detect and manage conditions such as macular degeneration and glaucoma.

Slit Lamp

A slit lamp utilizes a bright illumination and a microscope with multiple magnifications to allow for careful examination of the eye, front to back.
